Box Jumps + Fatigue = not genius

Look, if I have a client jump, it’s early in the workout, it’s low rep and high rest, and we do it on the floor, so we can teach landing mechanics.

These days, much of the time we don’t even do that. Instead, kettlebell swings that are simultaneously heavy and really snappy and crisp.

But I train gen pop, so what do I know. We usually go highest reward to lowest risk. People get in amazing shape if they can just not get hurt for like five years.
