From GMB:
Ever had a day that you just weren’t at your best?
Wish you could dial in your best performance more consistently?
Well, this week’s podcast is for you. Jarlo interviewed our friend Josh Hillis about how to build habits that ensure peak performance on a consistent, predictable basis. Small things you can do to make sure every day is one of your best.
Some of what you’ll learn:
- How learning sales skills gave Josh the psychological understanding necessary to become an effective weight loss coach
- How mindfulness while you eat or work out will change your results
- How to work with different types of internal and external motivation, which might change on a daily basis
- What to do when your plans don’t go the way you think they will
One thing Josh emphasized was that a mindful approach to the daily practice of any fundamental change will take you farther faster than focusing on the end result.
Josh’s book “Fatloss Happens on Monday” (coauthored with coaching legend, Dan John) is one of my favorite discussions of how habits lead to sustainable health, and I know you’ll get a lot of both useful persoective AND actionable tips out of this interview.
