This workshop will bridge the gap between nutrition (information) certifications and having your clients make consistent changes in their lives regardless of how stressful, busy and emotional their lives are.
Though the focus — and my specialty — is fat loss nutrition, coaches have implemented this system with Physical Therapy, sports performance nutrition, or any kind of lifestyle/habit change that would make a difference for their clients.
You’ll leave with effective, concrete tools that you can implement with your clients next week. You’ll get all of my habits to use with your clients, as well as get to develop your own habits based on your values and your clientele. You’ll get strategies for lifestyle habit coaching for one on one, semi-private, and group training.
You’ll find out why nearly everything we’ve been taught about how to coach nutrition actually reduces client motivation. I’ll give you the ‘trainer version’ of Self-Determination Theory and Motivational Interviewing, and how you can coach food and motivation from an evidence basis.
I’ll also give you my famous 3 Step Coaching System, so you can do all of this coaching in the first or last 5 minutes of your training session.
You will have the tools to massively increase clients’ concordance with all of their outside-the-gym parts of their program.
Most trainers find that these tools help them support clients’ autonomy, build their confidence, and create relatedness in a way that drastically improves clients’ results.
