This is a great video. My one issue with kettlebell swings is that they give me sore hamstrings. And even after a few months it doesn’t seem to lessen on the day after a workout. Does this ever go away?

KB swings do hit your hamstrings pretty hard, but it’s odd that it hasn’t lessened at all in months.

Driving the swing you should be flexing your butt as hard as you can with each hip snap. The work should be split between the hamstrings and the glutes. Sometimes, if you aren’t actively driving the swing from your butt, then your hamstrings will do all of the work and you’ll be more sore than you want to be in your hamstrings.
