What would it look like to:
Given the nature of this blog, first lets look at food:
I know, for myself, I'd eat to fuel myself with healthy stuff the most of the time. I'd eat food that supports all that I am and all that I want to be. I'd eat food that fuels me to be who I want to be for the people I care about.
I also know I'd eat the great meals with people I love. If I am in Rome, I'll eat all the pasta. If I am in Napa, I'll drink all of the wine. If it's Thanksgiving I'll eat way to much of everything. But I'd not forget that it has nothing to do with any of that — it has everything to do with being with the people I loved.
And then workouts:
I'd do what made me happy, for my goals. What matters to me. Not what anyone else says I should do, thinks I should do, or even what would look cool professionally for me to do.
How I Speak and Act
This is something I've been examining, in depth, in dozens of courses for over ten years. I'm always in the inquiry of what kind of man I want to be, and how that man would talk and act.
It always centers around how to lead, protect, love, and inspire — at the appropriate level to any given situation and relationship.
I don't always get this right. But at least I know which direction I'm trying to go.
And Now You
I almost never write a blog where I talk about me. But in this particular case it makes more sense to give you my answers, written as me, so you don't mistake them for your answers. In other words — I didn't want to tell you what your answers should be.
So take a look. Ask yourself. Notice how your answers may be different from what they were ten years ago, or six months ago. Notice that they may change next year or the year after.
This is the kind of conversation I have with my in person clients sometimes, when it's the thing that will make all of the difference.
