Great, short learning video on the Kettlebell Swing, Get Up, Squat, Press

I can’t prove it, but it sure seems like something magical happens to people’s bodies as they put more awareness into their movement and their form gets better.

I think everyone in 2014 should have a commitment to going deep on the basics.  Treat movements like the swing, the get up, the squat, and the press like a martial arts move or a yoga posture.  Dig in, go deep.

I’m always stoked to see a really good instructional video on kettlebell swing form, but this is even the next level.

Seeing StrongFirst partner with Dick’s Sporting Goods, and their huge consumer base, is really amazingly great.  Getting good, quality, hard-style instruction on kettlebell moves out to the masses will elevate the entire industry.

And, while I don’t talk about it often here on the blog, I have a huge commitment to the fitness industry moving up a notch in effectiveness, professionalism, and respect.  This is a big step in the right direction.
