Ok, so I’ve gotten a few emails asking about what I’ve been up to, since I haven’t been updating the blog very much in the last year (!)
It’s been a crazy year and a half or so. I partnered with One by One Nutrition. That means I get to work with Georgie Fear, author of Lean Habits, and Roland Fisher who is the business genius, Head Coach Kara Beutel, Emotional Eating Specialist Sarah Campbell, and Binge Eating Specialist Maryclaire Brescia. We’ve been working really hard on writing a bunch of lessons, making video and audio for them, to go a long with our coaching program.
So, if anyone missed it, I’m now part owner of, and Chief People Officer for, One by One Nutrition. Getting to work with genius people and coaches has been about 1000x better than doing stuff on my own, I’m really stoked to be part of such an amazing team.
On top of that, I went back to school for psychology. Most of the weight loss research I’ve been studying has turned out to be behavioral, and very little has been nutritional, so psychology made the most sense, if I’m basically going to study motivation and habits for the rest of my life. For the people who nerd on this stuff, right now I’m all about Self-Determination Theory, Relational Frame Theory, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
So, things are amazing, and good. I’m just starting to write a lot more public stuff again (after the year + of writing internal lessons). Most of that will come out on the One by One Nutrition Blog, though I’ll try to do workout and celebrity stuff on the Lose Stubborn Fat blog once in a while also. I’m probably going to send ALL of that — nutrition, habits, workout, celebrity, everything — to this email list.
