More Important Than Your New Years Resolution

IStock_000013365171Small

Is to ask yourself: “What are three things that will come up to block me from achieving my New Years Resolution?”

List the roadblocks out:

1. ___________________________________

2. ___________________________________

3. ___________________________________

You already know the roadblocks you are going to hit.

The smart play is to GET STRATEGIC about those roadblocks.  What are you going to DO that is DIFFERENT that will overcome those roadblocks?

New strategies:

1. ___________________________________

2. ___________________________________

3. ___________________________________

NOTE: More willpower is NOT a strategy.

Think of ways in which PLANNING and PREPARATION can overcome LAZINESS and HABIT.

Making a new habit is really hard work, you have to PLAN and PREPARE enough for the new habit that it’s almost easier to do the new habit than it is the old one.

My New Years Resolution is  ___________________________________

The new habit I am creating is __________________________________

And that’s really the key to New Years Resolutions – if you can make a NEW HABIT you can have a NEW RESULT.
