The biggest myth out there is that motivation is something you can "have", like blonde hair. Lots of people fail because they think they don't "have" motivation, but motivation isn't a solid thing.
Motivation is a feeling, and feelings come and go.
In other words, relying on motivation blows, y'all. It's an automatic failure plan. What you really need is a smart structure.
A structure is something OUTSIDE OF YOURSELF
and also IN REALITY that will keep you on track.
For example:
a.) Feeling motivated is:
1. inside of your head, and
2. is a feeling that can come and go. It's a bad structure.
b.) The chair you are sitting in is:
1. Outside of you, and
2. It's real solid thing that is there with or without you "feeling it".
If your structures for staying on track are more like the chair than they are like "motivation", you're going to do well.
You need as many structures as you can find to stay on track. A reliable workout buddy is a great structure. A picture of someone with your goal body on your refrigerator is a great structure.
Probably the Best *Structure* is a Transformation Contest
=> Turbulence Training Body Transformation Contest
A Transformation Contest follows both of my rules for a good structure:
1.) The Transformation Contest is going outside of yourself and your own motivation
2.) It's out there in the real world, with lots of other people, with or without you.
Body Transformation Contests are an awesome way to hold yourself accountable, have a solid goal, and have a great structure to follow through on your fitness goals and get the body you've always wanted.
I've known Craig Ballantyne for five years now, and his Turbulence Training was one of the first programs ever to combine big movements, uppper/lower supersets, and interval training in a fat loss program. In other words, he was doing awesome fat loss programs before most of the current "fat loss gurus" even existed.
Craig writes the best fat loss workouts around, and he's doing is 12th annual body transformation contest.
You totally want to check out the 1st place winners of the last contest:

Definitely check out Janae's before and after pictures, and Kevin's before and after pictures. They talk about which workouts they used, which diets, everything. It's really awesome.
And of course, it has the rules and how to sign up, if you want to join the one that is starting now.
I know it takes a lot of courage to do a Body Transformation Contest, but for a lot of people it makes all the difference to have that extra structure.
I mean, whether you win the money and 1st place or not, you're going to make an amazing difference in your body in 12 weeks. -Josh

Having had a nasty break up you are wondering how to get your ex back. Obviously you are not feeling very good about it. Your head is spinning and you can’t stop thinking about the break up, what might have been. If only you had said something different or did something different.
