Like I've said before, this diet is as old as dirt, and always works. It's about as stupid-simple as you can get. And that's why I like it.
P.S. I have no idea why it's called the One Day Diet =)
I wouldn't do it for more than a month – I would transition, one meal at a time, back to a long term, reasonable, clean diet, 30 days from now.
But if you want a massive boost, do this:
I've often talked about how I'm a big fan of having a smart long term workout and nutrition plan, and having 2-3 times a year where you really kick ass and hit it. The long term program should be totally reasonable. The short term intense program should be a little on the edge. Alternate between the two.
Motivation goes in cycles, energy level goes in cycles, career commitments and family commitments go through cycles. You absolutely have to have a long term program, and it also really works to cycle in and out of short term more intense programs.
This is the world's simplest intense nutrtion program: The One Day Diet
