Look, they work. I know enough people who’ve used them to know that they do everything you think they do. The thing is, that most people use steroids in lieu of hard work and a semi-intelligent workout/eating program. Whatever your goals, you don’t NEED them.
I know guys that juiced for 5-10 years in their 20’s and now in their 40’s they have the natural testosterone production of a 12 year old girl. Did they get huge in their 20’s? Yes. Do they have ten times harder a time building strength and muscle now that they are clean? Yes. Welcome to America, the land of choices. You can spend decades later paying for the mistakes you make now.
I’m going to bottom line you. Two kinds of people use steroids: 1.) People who don’t actually know what they are doing, and use juice as a way to overcome their lack of knowledge about training, and 2.) People that are competing at such a high level that natural ability may not be enough. The guys on the cover of Muscle and Fitness? They’ve got intelligent training and ‘roids. And veins popping out of their foreheads.
I gaurantee you that you can find people who’ve got everything you want and got there naturally. It just took more work, and it took more intelligently planned training.
Suck it up you puss. Do the hard work. Eat a lot of food.
Google the the Anabolic Solution for Bodybuilders by Dr. Mauro Di Pasquale. Pasquale is a huge mofo and a savage, world champion powerlifter who totalled 10x bodyweight (squat+deadlift+bench). Besides all that, he’s an accomplished sports nutritionist who wrote a book on using food to produce a hormonal response in the body – "The Anabolic Solution for Bodybuilders". I made the assumption that what you were getting at is a bodybuilding type goal. Conversely, if strength is your goal, then get the Anabolic Solution for Powerlifters.
