Why Gratitude is An Essential *Activity* During Fat Loss

So a funny thing can happen with fat loss – people can hit their goal physically and still not be happy about the way their body looks.

It's actually more common than you think.

I have a really simple fix: A gratitude journal.  Write down one thing every day that you love about your body.  And do the work to find something, every day.

I usually have people write it down in a physical journal, after they have done their food journalling for the day.  They can also put it in the comments of their online journal, but I like to have a physical journal so that you can accidentally hit things you've written before on the way to flipping to a new page.

The goal is both

1.) Hit your fat loss goal

2.) Be really happy about your body when you get there

And for the second one, it does take a gratitude *practice*.  Not just being grateful, not having a good attitude.  But actually a daily practice.
