Summer:
Winter:
I’m all for minimalist shoes, but right about now it starts getting pretty chilly in a pair of Vibram Five Fingers or Puma Salohs.
Nike Frees get a lot of flak from people who are heavy into the minimal shoe thing (or barefooting movement), but they have just enough shoe in ’em to keep you warm.
I know we’re all about barefoot training in kettlebell world, and I wouldn’t consider these “approved” shoes during the summer, but I give ’em thumbs up for outdoor kettlebelling during the winter.
If you workout primarily in doors, it doesn’t matter much. But for those of you who are pushing the outdoor bootcamp workouts, hiking, running, ect., it can make a big difference.
Enjoy!

Or buy a pair of Fivefingers Flow. Warm and cosy during fall and winter.

AAHHH Johan you beat me to the punch I was just going to say this!
BTW for a limited time in Europe they had Trekflows! They were the treksport sole with the Flow upper, making it the ultimate winter Vibram. Warm and traction. The regular flows can be pretty slippery in snow and ice. I wish they would come back out with those I would buy two pairs!
