I always say: Collect cookbooks, not diet books.

Here is a list I put together for one of my clients.  Check it out:

My friend Georgie (an RD) has this amazing recipe archive:

She also co-wrote this awesome cookbook: The Racing Weight Cookbook
http://www.amazon.com/Racing-Weight-Cookbook-Recipes-Athletes/dp/1937715159

And I compiled the "ultimate list" from all of my friends (RD's trainers, fat loss coaches).  These are the books that are "go to's"

For cooking protein: The Complete Meat Cookbook
http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Meat-Cookbook-Bruce-Aidells/dp/061813512X

For cooking vegetables: Plenty
http://www.amazon.com/Plenty-Vibrant-Recipes-Londons-Ottolenghi-ebook/dp/B005CRY2O6/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&sr=1-1&qid=1425583721

General cooking: The Naked Chef by Jamie Oliver
http://www.amazon.com/Naked-Chef-Jamie-Oliver/dp/0786866179/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8

and also: I'm Just Here for the Food by Alton Brown
http://www.amazon.com/Im-Just-Here-Food-Directors-ebook/dp/B004Q3RTUG/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1425583865&sr=1-1&keywords=i%27m+just+here+for+the+food+2.0
